RESPITE CARE PROGRAMS
For Albany County Residents

Community Maternity Services provides in-home/community based respite services for children with special mental health needs and their families residing in Albany County. We also assist families with children (0-3 years) receiving Early Intervention Services in Albany County with respite services.

 PROVIDING 

• ONGOING RESPITE SERVICES:
  Planned respite provided for children diagnosed with Serious Emotional Disturbance to provide support to the parent of the child. The Respite would take place in the home or in the community.  It would typically occur during after-school hours or on the weekend.

• CRISIS RESPITE SERVICES:
  Short-term weekly respite for children and families experiencing a crisis or critical transition period. The Respite would take place in the child’s home or in the community.
  

  (2 hours per week during a crisis.)
