Community Maternity Services - Mission Statement

In response to the changing and unique needs of society, Community Maternity Services (CMS) is committed to developing family-oriented and community-based programs which enhance the dignity, quality and sanctity of human life. We provide individualized social services and community education while advocating for dynamic change in public policies regarding the welfare of children and families.

Community Maternity Services is genuinely concerned with:

Advancing the scriptural values of mercy and justice in the spirit of the Catholic Charities movement.
Upholding the principles of social justice and family preservation.
Maintaining a commitment to the belief in the inherent sacredness of all human life.
Empowering clients to reach their full potential by providing them with resources for accessing health, educational and social services.

Our mission impels us to offer a range of comprehensive programs which reflect the compassion and healing ministry of the Church. By creating therapeutic environments and effective interventions for pregnant and parenting adolescents, children, and families, we strive to bring about personal growth and viable change. These goals are accomplished by individually assessing and responding to each client's needs. Services are provided to all in need regardless of income, age, gender, disability, race, ethnicity, lifestyles or religious belief.
