CMS has been providing adoption services since the 1970's. We assist birth parents in making an adoption plan for their child, adoptive parents in expanding their families through adoption and adult adoptees and their birth parents seeking assistance with adoption search.

CMS has three programs to serve you: Domestic Healthy Infant Adoption. Special Needs / N.Y.S. Searching Out Homes to Meet a Child's Needs: We will work with you to locate a family who you are comfortable with. Variety of Options: We offer a variety of adoptions, from closed, confidential adoptions to open adoptions where birth and adoptive parents have direct contact with each other.	CMS can assist you in the search process if you are an adult adoptee or birth parent who placed their child for adoption with CMS or Catholic Charities of the Diocese of Albany. We can provide non-identifying and medical information about your birth family. We can assist you with registering with the New York State Adoption and Medical Information Registry.
